Easy-going and hard-riding, Wild Bill might have been a cavalry trooper in another age. These days the "horse" eats jet fuel and comes with rotor blades. Served as combat infantryman and participated in LRRP (Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol) operations in South East Asia. Reenlisted for Flight Warrant Officer School and has since remained in service assigned to G.I. Joe. A lot of chopper pilots won't think twice about taking you into a hot landing zone. But as soon as you hit the ground, they're gone. It's when you need to get out of that LZ, when the enemy is working overtime, and you think no pilot in his right mind is coming back for you — that's when Wild Bill appears with the cavalry.
